The ImmunoHub project proudly sponsored the participation of Olivier Neyrolles in the 11th MCBiology Symposium, held at i3S – Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde on February 20th and 21st, 2025. As part of this international event, Dr. Neyrolles, a renowned researcher from the Institut de Pharmacologie et de Biologie Structurale (IPBS), CNRS, France, delivered an insightful seminar on host-pathogen interactions and tuberculosis research.
His talk explored the intricate mechanisms of mycobacterial infections, shedding light on immune evasion strategies and potential therapeutic interventions. By integrating fundamental microbiology with immunology, the seminar contributed to ImmunoHub’s mission of fostering collaboration and advancing research on immune-related diseases.

This event, aligned with the objectives of the EU-funded ImmunoHub project, emphasized the importance of international scientific cooperation in tackling infectious diseases.
