In the context of the celebrations of World Immunology Day, the first ImmunoHUB annual meeting held on March 17th, 2023 at i3S, brought together national and international renowned scientists including professor Alan Sher (NIH- National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; USA), Dr. Jean-Pierre Gorvel (Centre d’Immunologie Marseille-Luminy, FR), professor Teresa Zelante (University of Perugia, IT), and Professor Ana Espada de Sousa (iMM-Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes, PT) to discuss cutting-edge research.
The main topic for this year’s event was Infection and Immunity.
This event also counted with six short communications and 21 posters from PhD students and early-stage researchers. The ImmunoHUB annual meeting provided an excellent opportunity for junior researchers to present their work to distinguished leaders and was a timely and unique event to foster discussion and networking among the immunology research community.
